To participate as a volunteer with the One Child, One Lawyer project, attorneys must attend a one-day multidisciplinary training on issues of legal representation of children. CLE credits are available. After completion of this training, attorneys are qualified to be appointed to represent a child in an abuse/neglect proceeding.

Live trainings presented by expert practitioners and policymakers in the child welfare field are held quarterly throughout the year.

The next training will be held SATURDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2004 at the law firm of McKenna, Long & Aldridge located at 303 Peachtree Street / 5300 SunTrust Plaza / Atlanta, GA / 30308.

Registrations are still being accepted. Interested attorneys, please complete the Attorney Information Sheet and return it by fax to (404) 463-5126 or email the project coordinator.
